What are the responsibilities and job description for the X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST position at IVIRMA Global?
We are looking for a temporary Per-Diem X-Ray Technologist to assist us in our Basking Ridge offices.
Job Purpose :
Under the direct supervision of a Physician, the X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. This individual will accurately position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities :
- Performs detailed radiographic examinations.
- Establishes personal rapport with patients.
- Provides explanations of procedures.
- Understands, and is able, to follow MD protocols for procedures.
- Effectively operates all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.
Academic Training :
Studies level : Graduate of Accredited School
