Assistant Teacher Infant & Toddler Room

Part-Time Infant & Toddler Teacher! Our growing Early Childhood Learning Center has a job opening in our infant and toddler classroom. The position is part-time shifts Monday-Friday 8:00-1:30PM. At Ivy Academy we value the unique spirit of each child and staff member. The teachers are responsible for developing and maintaining parent relationships, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in continuous professional development. The infant teacher will create a high-quality learning environment for children ages 3 months to 2.9 years and have support from the top talent in our field. Responsibilities: -Plan or assist with developmentally appropriate activities for infants & toddlers -Provide individualized attention and care to each child -Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress -Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment -Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure quality care for all children - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments License/Certification: EEC Certification (Preferred) Criminal Background Check Schedule: 8:00AM-1:30PM Monday-Friday Starting Salary is $25.00 per hour, depending on education, certification, and experience.
