About the Role
We are seeking a dress-obsessed, full-time Sr. Apparel Production Manager working a hybrid schedule at Ivy's HQ in Riverton, UT. This role will assist in elevating Ivy by guiding the team with process documents, digging into performance data, and managing project plans, budgets, and production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Guide the Product Development team in creating process documentation for new workflows and facilitate their implementation.
- Assist in building department KPI goals, adoption ratios, fabric usage, on-time delivery, and analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed project plans, implementation schedules, resource plans, and budgets for all production plans and calendars.
- Support strategic long-term planning for cost efficiencies across pre-production, design, sampling, bulk production, quality control, and shipping.
- Makes and manages new factory introductions for growing company categories, including bottoms, outerwear, dresses, shoes, and accessories.
- Create and maintain production calendars and act as liaison between production development, merchandise planning, and finance teams.
- Supports the implementation of Tech-related projects and tool implementations in support of the Product Development team.
- Manage and guide team members on price negotiation, purchase orders, sample tracking, production approval, and bulk shipment tracking.
- Travel overseas periodically.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 6 years production development and/or project management experience in specialty retail apparel brands.
- Strong understanding of apparel product lifecycle.
- Experience delivering high growth at the brand or category level.
- Strong group facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including analytical, problem-solving, organizational, issue resolution, and relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate.
- Ability to influence across the organization, particularly around strategic issues and change management.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to create PowerPoint presentations that take large amounts of information and data and present them articulately and succinctly with a clear vision to the executive team.
