What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Director position at Ivy Hill Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation?
The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. This individual monitor the budget, creates, and revises policies and systems to ensure high-quality care. The Executive Director monitors compliance with state and federal regulations. This candidate will also work with the other department leaders to resolve issues that directly impact the services provided to our residents.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Maryland Nursing Home Administrator License
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required; Master’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year(s) of experience in management of a Long Term Care community.
Requirements:
- Manage business plan for the attainment of goals and objectives.
- Manage an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to subordinate managers.
- Ensure adherence of the organization’s daily activities and long-term plans to established policies and legal guidelines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work with diverse groups of people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
