Math Tutor

Tutor positions are part time and hired on an as needed basis. This position is grant funded from the TRIO Student Support Services grant.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist students by providing tutoring in various academic fields in Math, or other related subjects.
• Work with individual and groups of students on strengthening interpersonal skills development and career exploration, using prepared and standardized materials for academic support.
• Collection of data as required by the SSS (TRiO) program.
• Successful completion of extensive training prior to job commencement and ongoing training thereafter.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.
  
  

Pay Rate: $15/hour

Schedule: Based on student needs and candidate availability. Maximum of 28 hours per week.

Education, Experience And Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Knowledgeable in required academic field
• Experience as a tutor is preferred
