What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Tutor position at Ivy Tech Community College?
Tutor positions are part time and hired on an as needed basis. This position is grant funded from the TRIO Student Support Services grant.

Schedule: Based on student needs and candidate availability. Maximum of 28 hours per week.

Major Responsibilities
- Assist students by providing tutoring in various academic fields in Math, or other related subjects.
- Work with individual and groups of students on strengthening interpersonal skills development and career exploration, using prepared and standardized materials for academic support.
- Collection of data as required by the SSS (TRiO) program.
- Successful completion of extensive training prior to job commencement and ongoing training thereafter.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledgeable in required academic field
- Experience as a tutor is preferred
