What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Life CAB President position at Ivy Tech Community College?
To aid in the planning & overall operation of Student Life & Development
(SLD) activities to maintain and develop student involvement in Ivy Tech campus life.
Positions are funded semester to semester based upon continued program funding and student eligibility. The anticipated length of this work assignment is Spring 2024 term with the possibility of renewal.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Staff and monitor office operations.
- Develop and maintain an electronic database to keep track of office visitors, student attendance, and overall evaluation.
- Be knowledgeable and current with all SLD programming and events.
- Develop ideas, design flyers, and create marketing plans for student recruitment.
- Develop and maintain office visual appearance.
- Track office supply inventory.
- Respond to and follow up with student, staff, and faculty inquiries (including, but not limited to, health and wellness inquiries) by phone, email, and office visits.
- Manage campus bulletin boards in accordance with SLD flyer posting policies.
- Remain flexible in planning, assisting with, and carrying out SLD campus events/activities.
- Monitor and report feedback on SLD activities, providing relevant management information.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements:
Must be enrolled in classes at Ivy Tech Anderson
Must maintain a 3.0 GPA
Self motivated and able to work independently
Strong oral and written communication skills required
Ability to work as a team member
