Ivybrook Academy is currently seeking passionate preschool directors for our locations in Dublin & Powell. Our schools provide a professional environment where educators can focus their time on igniting the joy of learning in their students. We are seeking directors committed to progressive quality education using a hybrid curriculum of Montessori and Reggio Emilia teaching methods.
Benefits: Competitive Salary position. Over 7 weeks paid vacation per year. Work Hours: 7:45am-5:00pm Monday-Friday following the City of Dublin academic school calendar. 7 weeks of summer camp hours are 8:45am-1:00pm. Supportive and professional work environment - family owned and operated.
Duties
- Oversees the daily school operations through administration and management of the school campus and is the final decision maker in day-to-day school operations.
- Implements and adheres to the school philosophy, mission, and vision.
- Develops open lines of communication with administrators, educators, families and students.
- Works in conjunction with the Dublin/Powell Campus administrative team. * Collaborates with the Parent Teacher Committee.
- Gives tours of the school and enrolls prospective families.
- Maintains availability for employees and parents whenever needed, which includes but is not limited to email, phone calls, and conferences.
- Hosts weekly staff meetings.
- Plans and facilitates staff trainings throughout the academic calendar year.
- Ensures the safety and protection of all students. * Maintains a sanitary environment for the children and staff.
- Oversees that the school campus is properly maintained and in good repair.
- Maintains Ivybrook Academy’s aesthetic standards within the interior and exterior of the school building.
- Attends all school functions.
- Assists and evaluates educators on meeting the requirements of their job descriptions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
