What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Records Processor position at IvyTech?
GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION :
Under the direction of the Assistant College Registrar of Transfer and Graduation, this position is responsible for the centralized processing of various student records.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Evaluate and post transfer credit evaluations by using the Transfer Equivalency System (TES) and the degree audit system (u.achieve).
- Work with Academic Affairs to establish transfer credit equivalencies.
- Process completed graduations in Banner and order diplomas through the fulfillment system.
- Process various student records-related requests, including grade appeals, grade changes, student name / demographic information changes.
- Process drops for non-completion of pre-requisite courses at the end of each term.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
