2nd Shift Machine and Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Function

The Maintenance Tech will provide industrial control and mechanical support to repair and maintain plant equipment and machinery.

Required qualifications
Education

Required:

Must have high school diploma / GED

And

Must be familiar with electrical controls

Preferred:

Mechanical background / Maintenance background

Skills

Minimum 2-4 years work experience.

Must have experience utilizing prints, schematics, and documentation for troubleshooting issues

Must have working knowledge of electrical-pneumatic systems

Ability to use Computer/PLC programs to monitor, troubleshoot, and modify machine controls, sequences and processes preferred

Experience with Beckhoff PLCs, motor drives, and safety circuits preferred

Task description

• Ensure daily and weekly production targets for department(s) are met
• Communicate with department supervisor / shift leads / operators
• Ensure all processes are followed at all times
• Troubleshoot machines and prepare and install tools.
• Adjust parameters and tools (mechanic, pneumatic) on assembly machines.
• Spare parts Inventory
• Building maintenance
• Immediate response to production disturbances
• Preventative/predictive maintenance
• Additional task/responsibilities may be adjusted/added at the manager’s discretion to align with changing production needs

Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

*Training on 1st Shift for approximately 4 weeks (1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.64 - $30.64 per hour
