Assembler
1st Shift 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $18/hr.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and subassemblies according to blueprints and schematics.
- Utilize hand tools and machines to position, align, and fasten parts.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure product specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment.
- Prepare for assembly by gathering necessary parts, tools, and materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, notifying supervisors as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing orders.
- Document production and quality control actions.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle assembly tasks.
- Commitment to safety and quality control.
- Excellent dexterity and hand eye coordination.
- Color vision may be required for specific electronic assembly tasks.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Relevant certifications in fabrication or electronic assembly are a plus.
