Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lounge/Bar/Karaoke Manager to oversee our bar operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, particularly in fine dining or quick service settings. The Lounge/Bar/Karaoke Manager will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, and ensuring that our bar meets the highest standards of service.
Duties
- Lead and manage bar staff, providing training and development to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends while maintaining quality.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.
- Interact with guests to provide exceptional service, address concerns, and enhance their overall experience.
- Utilize the Toast POS system for efficient order processing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during banquets or special events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in the food industry, preferably in fine dining or quick service fast food restaurant settings.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on training development and team motivation.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine pairing, and beverage trends.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and guests.
- Culinary knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
