Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpentry Estimator with experience, located in Alsip, IL. The Carpentry Estimator will be responsible for evaluating and preparing estimates for carpentry projects, managing project timelines, and coordinating with the project team. Daily tasks include reviewing project plans and specifications, calculating costs for materials and labor, and ensuring accurate and competitive bids. The Carpentry Estimator will also maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors and ensure project completion within budget and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Skilled in Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, and Framing take offs.
- Proficient use of Onscreen take of Quick bid and Exel
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for precise estimation of project costs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site in Alsip, IL
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training are a plus
