What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at J Allen Contracting?
J Allen Contracting is looking to expand our team of skilled finishers and laborers that are available to work full-time. We offer benefits, competitive wages, 401K, and generous PTO time.
Workers will need to be flexible in the workplace in that we specialize in both commercial and residential projects including concrete, excavating, and an array of various other jobs.
Safety is a priority, so workers must maintain integrity in the workplace and adhere to internal safety precautions and policies.
Candidates will be considered if you:
1. Must have a valid driver's license
2. Be at least 18 years of age
3. Show and maintain a solid work ethic in the workplace
4. Are willing to work overtime
5. Consistently lift and transport 50-100 pounds
6. Ability to work in all weather
7. Workers must be punctual and reliable
Job details include:
1. Forming various types of flatwork, stairs, and ramps
2. Operate and care of construction equipment and machines.
3. Help operators and finishers as needed.
4. Perform site clean-up.
