Description

The Customer Service position is the first point of contact a customer has with our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for interacting with customers over the phone and through email. You will also be responsible for entering and processing all orders for products that are received over the phone, through voice mail, fax, and the internet. The Customer Service Representative develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. A successful candidate will possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and dependability. You must be able to communicate effectively with customers as well as management and other employees across all departments. The hours are 12P-8P with two days off each week, which will be Wednesday & Saturday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communications with customers with a thorough understanding of the company’s products through experience, education, or on-the-job learning.

• Process and enter orders received by phone, voice mail, fax, and internet into Produce Pro.

• Manage daily orders for select customers.

• Ensure all orders are entered accurately and in a timely fashion.

• Inform customers of prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer.

• Follow up with customers as necessary to inform them of the status of the orders, including pricing changes, shortages, and/or delays.

• Resolve customer problems, such as shipping or invoicing problems, etc., or refer customer questions to the appropriate person.

• Establish and maintain customer profiles.

• Effectively communicate with customers, management, and other employees both verbally and in writing.

• Exercises professionalism and courtesy always when speaking with customers.

Position will work Sundays and Holidays as necessary based on Company holidays and delivery schedules.

• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma; six (6) months experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent Customer Service Skills.

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.

• Technically savvy, able to work with and optimize multiple software packages such as Microsoft Office and Produce Pro

• Self-motivated and solution minded

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

• Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.
