Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tractor and Trailer Mechanic at J.B. Hunt Transport Services in Joppa, MD. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and handling heavy equipment related to tractors and trailers.
Qualifications
- Maintenance & Repair, Troubleshooting, and Heavy Equipment skills
- Experience in maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
- Ability to work on heavy equipment such as tractors and trailers
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in maintenance
- Certification or training in diesel mechanics or related field is a plus
- Experience in a similar role within the transportation industry is beneficial
- MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
