Mobile Service Technician – Wet Tech
Location: Statesboro and surrounding areas
Schedule: Full-Time | Mobile Role
Department: Service
Reports To: Service Manager
Pay: $30/hour flat rate
Position Overview:
Join our growing team as a Mobile Service Technician, specializing in wet jobs—routine maintenance and light mechanical work—on any make or model vehicle, excluding select luxury brands. In this role, you'll provide on-site service at customer homes or workplaces using a fully equipped mobile service van. You’ll be the face of convenience and trust for our customers while keeping vehicles in peak condition.
This is a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety, independence, and building customer relationships—without the heavy shop work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform light-duty offsite maintenance and repair services, such as:
Oil and filter changes
Battery replacements
Brake services and flushes
Fluid top-offs and exchanges
Wiper blade replacement
Cabin and engine air filter replacements and more
Work on any make or model, excluding some high-end luxury vehicles
Conduct pre- and post-service inspections to ensure vehicle health
Maintain a clean and well-stocked mobile service van
Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients about services performed
Accurately log services and repairs in the company’s mobile service program
Uphold safety and environmental standards at all service sites
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in light repair work
Ability to work independently and manage your own mobile service schedule
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Automotive certifications (ASE) are a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work in varied outdoor environments
Stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
Operate hand tools, diagnostic devices, and light service equipment safely
