We are looking for an office administrative assistant to be responsible for light bookkeeping and data-entry, receptionist duties, and some social media management as well as to support administrative functions for corporate Senior Leaders.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Experience in accounting software is a plus. Prior experience in an office setting is preferred. This may be an attractive position to someone with an interest in hospitality, accounting, advertising or psychology fields.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, callers, and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude during regular office hours.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, filing, mail and sorting.
- Participate in month-end close process with sales, deposits, accounts payable, credit cards, and bank reconciliations. Depending on experience, could also assist with payroll data entry, new hire reporting, HR duties, and following government regulations for employment.
- Assist with corporate testing and maintain related data, including psychological evaluations of patients.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies and cleanliness.
- Support unit operations’ weekly schedules, data entry and maintain necessary spread sheets and recordkeeping.
- Assist with preparing reports and data for meetings and communicating with managers at all stores.
- Post and engage with social media platforms, depending on experience and skills.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks as assigned.
- Perform miscellaneous ad-hoc administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with accounting, bookkeeping, payroll or in a related field.
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good time management skills and regular attendance.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
- Ability to comply with HIPAA standards of confidentiality.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
