Position SummaryAs a Parts Counterperson, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department. Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Assisting customers in person and over the phone to locate and order needed parts.
✔ Managing inventory, tracking stock levels, and placing orders as needed.
✔ Researching and sourcing parts from suppliers when necessary.
✔ Ensuring accuracy in ordering, receiving, and stocking parts.
✔ Working closely with service technicians and other departments to fulfill parts requests efficiently.
✔ Resolving discrepancies between computer inventory and actual stock.
✔ General understanding of automotive systems and parts.
✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers.
✔ Ability to use inventory management software and search for part numbers.
✔ Attention to detail when managing inventory and verifying orders.
