Job Overview:
The Entry-Level Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to our engineering team and office operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and eager to learn. You will be responsible for a range of administrative duties to help ensure the smooth functioning of daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications
- Greet visitors and assist with inquiries
- Maintain office supplies and manage inventory
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents
- Manage and organize files, both digital and physical
- Provide support for various office tasks as needed, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for team members
- Assist in data entry and updating internal databases
- Support project management and team communication
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Prior administrative or office support experience is an asset but not required
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks
Work Hours:
- Flexible schedule available; position can be part-time or full-time based on the candidate's availability and company needs.
