JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY
The Contracts Associate is responsible for supporting the preparation, review, and administration of contracts in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure contract execution aligns with business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing bid packages for the estimating department by gathering required documentation, coordinating project details, ensuring specifications are clearly outlined, and aiding in the review of submissions to meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Obtain certificates of insurance and insurance quotes
- Obtain price quotes and bonds for projects
- Serve as the liaison between internal and external parties during the contract development and negotiation stages.
- Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and administrate subcontract requests from Project Team
- Process subcontract and review for accuracy
- Review all documents for compliance
- Complete execution of subcontract
- Enter into accounting system

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum, of 3-5 years’ experience as a Contract Associate/Administrator
- Previous experience in a contract management or legal support role preferred
- Experienced in handling the public bidding process for a construction company preferred
- Technical and innovative skills
- Overall knowledge of MS Office
