Inventory Control Manager
Worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery has a job opening for an Inventory Control Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall inventory and warehouse operations while maximizing efficiency and productivity. Potential candidates should have strong analytical mindset and excellent leadership skills. QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an inventory management role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AS400
Preferred:
- APCIS CPIM Certification.
- Experience with inventory management in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth experience in various ERP systems.
- Working with various logistics providers and handling cases of damage.
Job duties will include:
- Oversee staffing, warehouse operations, budgeting, and inventory management for the organization.
- Lead improvement projects across all aspects of the warehouse.
- Lead cycle counting and physical inventory counting activities and investigate variances.
- Anticipate labor needs based on sales volume, ensuring optimal staffing levels.
- Implement and enforce quality and safety programs, including ISO 9001 audits.
- Ensure warehouse is well maintained and cleanliness is in order.
- Collaborate with senior management to set operational goals and drive results.
- Additional duties as assigned.
