Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including litter box cleaning and waste disposal.
- Engage in playtime and exercise to ensure pets remain active and stimulated.
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly.
- Offer basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing when required.
- Provide companionship and affection to pets, helping them feel comfortable in their home environment.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's needs and any incidents that may arise.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving pet supplies or equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in animal care or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills in pet grooming, veterinary assistance, or dog training are highly valued.
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and handling various types of animals is beneficial.
- Customer service experience is essential for building strong relationships with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for certain tasks within the role.
- Knowledge of equine care or kennel management is a plus.
