Position Summary
This senior level role in the Human Resources Department is responsible for managing the organization's compensation function and administering compensation related programs and policies in line with corporate pay philosophies and federal and state regulations. This position is also responsible for managing the software applications used by the HR department. The ideal candidate would reside in the local market and have the flexibility to work from home, onsite. or remote.
Job Responsibilities
Compensation Management :
- Plans for, coordinates, and executes the annual salary structure update process, including reviewing market data, assessing geographical differentials and assessing position pay grades.
- Collaborates with department leaders to review and finalize position descriptions, to include defining job responsibilities, progression paths, FLSA status, and pay grade / level.
- Develops and administers variable compensation programs such as Gain Sharing, Discretionary Bonus, recognition programs, and other programs.
- Manages the design and analysis of incentive plans in collaboration with area leadership. Oversees the administration of incentive software application used for calculations, approval, and payment processing.
- Assists with updating and creating policies in the Associate Handbook related to areas involving compensation.
- Ensures that all compensation-related activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Conducts market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs.
