What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Customer Service Representative position at J & J Staffing Resources?
Our client in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to join their team. This is a seasonal position and offers $18/hr.
2024 Hours:
- 9/30 - 11/15/24: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (additional hours as needed)
- 11/18 - 12/18/24: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (additional hours as needed)
- Includes day after Thanksgiving (Friday, 11/29/24)
- Saturdays as needed: 11/23, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14 (8am-1pm)
- Overtime paid for extended hours
- Paid holiday for Thanksgiving – must work on Friday 11/29/24
Essential Duties:
- Train and become familiar with custom online database and eCommerce system. Answer related questions from customers.
Phone Orders
- Confirm delivery and contact information with customer
- Enter order quantities into Excel spreadsheet
- Transfer order quantities into online database order pad
- Complete final steps to process order
- Emailed orders
Traditional Orders:
- Copy/paste email into online database
- Complete all steps to process order
Electronic Orders:
- Order is populated into online database; complete steps to process order
- Answer phones/engage with customers. Transfer phone calls to appropriate person or take phone messages as needed.
- Enter all notes from customer communication (phone or email) into online database.
- Internet research; update online database.
- Ship Sales Material via UPS.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
- Ability to efficiently utilize and enter data into a computer
- Effective communication and phone skills
- Detail-oriented
