Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office/Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, filing, data entry, post invoices, Office errands and ordering office supplies. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Process PO's
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of payments.
- Utilize Procontractor
- Perform additional clerical duties as needed, including filing and phone etiquette tasks.
- Run company errands
Experience
- Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Procontractor is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse vendors.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, word and excel.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
