What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst (Emergency Management/Economic Development) position at J&M Global Solutions LLC?
The Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting efforts in data collection, management, and analysis for multiple projects, to include economic development and recovery efforts and emergency management / mitigation project management. The successful candidate will use a variety of tools and methods to develop products that describe impacts of programs and of disasters. Individuals need to have experience developing detailed maps in ArcGIS and also producing clear and concise written products for a variety of audiences. This role involves program management, stakeholder engagement, and innovative problem-solving to standardize and optimize data.
This is a hybrid position working three days per week out of our Alexandria, VA, office.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Management : Collect, clean, consolidate, and analyze data to improve reporting and inform decision-making.
- GIS Support : Leverage GIS tools to support hazard mitigation and recovery initiatives, ensuring data is effectively visualized and utilized for program outcomes.
- Programmatic Support : Assist in planning, reporting, and evaluating regional program activities.
- Assessment : Conduct impact assessments, analyze metrics, and share information in both visual presentations and written reports.
