Customer Service Specialist

Location : Newington, CT

Pay : $22–$25 / hr

Job Type : Temp-to-Hire

A dynamic company in Newington is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to provide tailored solutions while handling billing issues, creating processes, and managing quotes. This role also involves offering administrative support, reporting, processing purchase orders, and collaborating across departments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, a multitasker, and able to document all customer interactions efficiently in a CRM system.

Responsibilities :

Address and resolve customer billing issues, ensuring prompt and accurate solutions

Create and manage processes for handling quotes, ensuring consistency and accuracy

Provide administrative support, including managing purchase orders and generating reports

Collaborate cross-departmentally to meet customer needs and streamline operations

Document customer interactions thoroughly in the CRM system for future reference

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products to offer informed solutions to clients

Assist with daily office operations as needed, ensuring smooth workflow Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required

3 years of customer service and office experience, with a focus on administration

Proficient in computer use and CRM systems (experience with specific CRM tools a plus)

Strong multitasking ability and excellent time management skills

Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
