Data ETL Pipeline Engineer

Our client in Northern Hartford County is looking to add an Engineer to their Data / BI team, in this role you will take the lead in building robust data ETL pipelines and business workflows. This role offers a collaborative working environment and great opportunity for career advancement.

Hybrid schedule – 3 days WFH, 2 days in office

Office located in the Bloomfield, CT area

Base salary range $90,000 - $110,000 bonus and benefits

Duties and responsibilities :

Collaborate with internal business stakeholders and the greater IT team to gather requirements and deliver high quality / scalable data solutions to meet evolving needs

Design and build ETL pipelines for data collection, transformation, and storage from multiple sources including MES, ERP, MS SQL and Oracle databases, and LMS

Implement automated data validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting processes to improve quality and consistency

Implement custom functionality into the ERP system to boost performance

Follow data policies, controls, and strategy to ensure enterprise data is secure, accurate, and reliable

Update documentation on data dependencies, flow, and linage

Stay up to date on current industry trends and best practices Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant professional experience

5 years of experience within data engineering with experience working with an ERP system or LMS

Experience with RDBMS (MS SQL, Azure SQL, Oracle databases

Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database solutions, with a focus on security, scalability, and performance optimization

ETL and data pipeline development experience, proficiency with SQL, PL / SQL and developing stored procedures

Strong knowledge of data security and governance best practices

Custom ERP development experience, data warehouse design, and Python programming desired  INDI

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
