An innovative industrial manufacturing firm based in Lower Hartford County is seeking a people-oriented Junior HR Business Partner to support day-to-day HR operations. This role will ensure efficient payroll processing, employee engagement programs and maintaining safety and wellness initiatives. Key Responsibilities :
Provide support for HR functions including maintaining employee records and assisting with employee relations issues
Process weekly payroll for approx. 80 fulltime employees and manage hours for temporary workers
Coordinate onboarding programs, creating a positive and welcoming new employee experience.
Manage employee learning and development programs to support employee growth and organizational compliance.
Partner with the Safety Action Group to maintain a safe work environment and ensure up to day OSHA and safety training programs
Lead wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs, fostering a positive work culture.
Qualifications :
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment and engaging with production floor employees.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
1-2 years of HR experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is plus
