Level II IT Support Administrator
Our client is a well-established firm in the Hartford area looking to add a Level II Support Administrator to their staff. In this role you will work directly under senior management with the opportunity to grow within the organization.

On-site position in Hartford, CT
Responsibilities :
Respond to all Help Desk calls and emails, resolving issues or directing them to the appropriate IT staff or third-party vendor
Return all Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
Understand cybersecurity risks related to current and future technology, ensuring compliance with applicable processes
Assist in server and network monitoring and troubleshooting
Ensure information security measures and equipment comply with relevant laws and regulation
Monitor and maintain inventory of laptops, desktops, printers, projectors, and peripherals
Review backup and server logs, documenting any errors.
Create and update SmartDeploy desktop software images to reflect the latest core operating system versions
Prepare desktop or laptop computers for new or existing employees using pre-configured SmartDeploy images
Create new network users or remove former employees according to established procedures
Draft and maintain user and IT procedural documentation
Qualifications :
Experience with current software applications, including but not limited to Workshare Professional, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office 365, Avaya Cloud Office, and desktop operating systems such as Windows 10 and 11
Knowledgeable in Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 technologies, including IIS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP / IP, and network-related systems
Experienced in working with Virtual Machine (VM) environment
Proficient in supporting mobile devices (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Android) and related mobile software applications, including Microsoft Intune or similar Mobile Device Management frameworks
Transport, install, and maintain electronic equipment, including printers, desktops, laptops, and components, with occasional lifting of devices over 70 pounds and tasks requiring bending and stooping
Must be able to work autonomously without direct supervision and be productive and punctual
Must have strong internal customer service skills and communication skills.
