Work/Yard Hand / Laborer
J&N Construction, LLC. is seeking a hardworking, reliable, responsible, and skilled work hand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operations of our facility. The employee will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace while assisting with a variety of manual labor tasks. This position will require following directions, lifting, and teamwork. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. the employee to work out in the elements.
Pay: Hourly Pay is dependent on experience.
Requirements:
- *PREFFERRED* Familiarity with heavy machinery.
- *PREFERRED* Experience in operating machinery and welding.
- *REQUIRED* Maintain Attendance: the ability to maintain a good attendance that stays in compliance with the company policy/needs.
- *REQUIRED* Team Collaboration: the ability to take and follow directions; work well with others, communicate to supervisors; and contribute positively to a team environment.
- *MUST be physically fit to endure the daily activities involved with the job. Such as but not limited to reaching, climbing, bending, walking, digging, lifting 50 pounds, etc. to accomplish essential job functions.
- *MUST have a valid driver’s license.
- *MUST be able to work in all weather conditions.
- *MUST be able to pass a drug screening and a background check.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform physical tasks in an outdoor environment, in all elements.
- Willingness to provide support when needed to other areas of the yard operations which may include loading/unloading trucks; cleaning/maintenance.
- Upkeep, organize, and maintain the work area to guarantee a safe work environment.
- Take initiative, ownership, and responsibility of the work duties.
- Monitoring inventory and supplies.
- Perform basic repairs as needed.
- Operate the machinery occasionally.
- Report any equipment repairs/issues needed to their supervisor.
- Other duties assigned.
