What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at J P Lamborn CO?

SCHEDULE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 6 : 00AM to 2 : 30PM

General Responsibilities

This position is responsible for pulling and checking off finished goods being loaded on trucks, containers and / or stock transfers. This position is also responsible for pulling finished goods and loading customer trucks for will call and maintaining the finished good warehouse.
Essential Duties
Responsible for the accuracy of all out bound shipments including pulling correct product, administering load paperwork and ensuring that orders are being filled in a timely and efficient manner
Must be able to operate an industrial forklift
Capable of reading, understanding and following all shipping documents
Maintain finished goods warehouse ensuring product is properly stored in correct location
Maintain good communication between all departments to assure overall quality and customer satisfaction
All other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication, customer relations, and math skills required

Drivers License Required

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Forklift experience required and current forklift certification preferred

Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred

10 key experience desired

Minimum of three (3) years of hands on shipping experience in a fast paced environment is preferred

High energy level and must be exceptionally detail oriented
