Summary
As the Subcontractor Manager, you will work closely with field and corporate operations to identify and manage subcontractors on multiple jobsites. This position will also assist in the onboarding of subcontractors as well as daily and/or weekly reporting to the Project Manager. Must understand the activities that take place on a large construction site and be able to push subcontractors to maintain schedule, quality, and contractual requirements. Must also be able to read through construction subcontracts/master contracts and understand all requirements. Must be able to read blueprints effectively and define scope of work to drive progress as the schedule and jobsite requires. Will work with subcontractors to receive pricing and proposals for new projects, along with answering questions that come up during the estimating and construction phases. The successful candidate must have civil construction experience, along with 3-5 years general electrical construction management experience. Must be a motivated self-starter, organized and able to manage several detailed processes at a time. Must have the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams to develop, implement and maintain processes for timeliness and quality. Excellent communication skills is required.
This position requires working from the jobsite trailer 40-50 hours/week. Only serious and experienced individuals should apply.
