Job Description
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Schoolcraft, MI team. The successful candidate will spend their days in a safe, climate-controlled environment with hours from 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with internal customers to provide information on shipping status, anticipated service failures, pickup and delivery dates/times and alternate solutions where possible.
- Interact closely with carriers / dispatch to receive information on shipping status.
- Provide support to customer service / sales about service capabilities, rates, and power availability to build and grow relationships with key accounts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-4 years of experience in logistics/supply chain or an industrial environment preferred.
- Experience with order processing software (SAP) and strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Able to work in an office environment and comfortable with a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
