J. Rieger & Co. is seeking enthusiastic individuals who are looking to start a career in Hospitality to fill our Food Runner and Busser positions. We’re asking for flexible evening availability that includes weekdays and weekends.
Our distillery features four unique outlets that feature creative cocktails and mouthwatering food. We're looking for energetic individuals to fill our roster!
Responsibilities:
- Seek meaningful connection with guests
- Comprehensive knowledge of the food menus
- Commitment to building knowledge of all things food and beverage
- Support servers and bartenders with pre-bussing and table maintenance
- Ensure product and food quality when running food to tables
- Support mise en place and preparation across J. Rieger & Co.
About J. Rieger & Co:
J. Rieger & Co. was founded in 1887 in Kansas City’s West Bottoms Livestock Exchange district. The brand offered over 100 alcoholic products and took pride in maintaining a quarter of a million unique customers by offering mail-order delivery services. In 1919, Prohibition was enacted by the federal government and wasn’t reversed until 1933. J. Rieger & Co. was a casualty at the time, but was not destined to be lost forever. In 2014, we revived Kansas City’s historic and iconic distillery, opening a visitor experience for the first time in July of 2019 in historic Electric Park.
Our distillery offers daily tours, tastings, three distinct bar spaces serving cocktails, food, beer and wine, as well as space for private events. Our service is professional, imbued with sincere hospitality and defined by our desire to always build relationships.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
