Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and irrigation system management.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for groundskeeping and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations for improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all landscaping operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of gardening techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, irrigation systems, and landscape design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise on-site.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
