Looking to hire a landscape forman who is a self starter and performance driven.An individual who can supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day to day work activities of a landscape construction crew of 2 to 5 employees. Someone who is highly structured in organization and time management, demonstrating initiative. Experience using landscaping equipment is a must, especially the use of a zero turn mower , weedwacker , and blower. Must posses a valid drivers liscence! Experience driving a truck and trailor is a plus!! This job position is full time, and expected to work 8-12 hour work days! Able to work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold. I am looking for a postitive reliable individual who is consistent, hard working, and willing to put in the time and effort to learn and mature in this business! Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, weedwacking, leaf and brush removal.
- Operate a truck and trailor, use of a zero turn mower, hand tools and machinery, such as excavators, mowers, weedwacking, and use of a backpack blower to assist in landscaping projects.
- Delegate job tasks to crew members to assist in the completion of landscape cites and projects
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written in English)
- Drive to various job sites and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Excellent knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment and techniques required to complete required tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Innovative and focused on learning and self-improvement
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently, organized and safely.
Summary
As a Landscape Foreman, you will be essential in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks. Reporting to the Boss, you will utilize core skills in lawn care, landscape maintenance, communcation skills, and groundskeeping to ensure the beauty and health of the environment. Your premium mechanical knowledge will aid in operating equipment such zero turn mowers, weedwackers, backpack blowers, excavators and hand tools. Additionally, your relevant skills in management,organization, landscaping, lawncare maintance, trimming, and mechanical skills will contribute to the overall success of our landscaping projects !Join our team and help create stunning landscapes that enrich our community!
