Trusts and Estates Attorney – minimum 7 years Law Firm Experience Required

Our client, an extraordinarily successful Trusts and Estates Practice Group, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Estate Planning Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience working in estate planning and trust administration, with a strong focus on providing clients with comprehensive and customized solutions for their estate and wealth management needs.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax law, as well as applicable state and federal regulations; Experience with both traditional and sophisticated estate planning techniques, including irrevocable trusts, charitable planning, and asset protection strategies is required; An ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail is required.

This key role will collaborate with partners to assess estate planning needs, provide tailored legal advice, and develop estate plans that align with clients' goals; Draft and review complex estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Directives, and other related legal instruments; Estate Administration : work includes guiding clients through the probate process, including trust administration, probate filings, and the distribution of assets; Experience with estate and gift tax planning, utilizing strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant federal and state laws is required.
