Becker & Company is seeking a dedicated Claims Investigation Unit Assistant to join our dynamic team focusing to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our investigative assignments. We investigate all types of insurance claims including workers' compensation, suspected fraud, liability and aimed at mitigating expenses for our clients and delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant, you'll provide critical support to our Case Managers by:
- Assisting with the review of investigative assignments, ensuring adherence to specific client requirements.
- Helping to assign cases to field investigators based on geographic location, budgetary guidelines, and cost containment principles.
- Assisting in gathering information for in-house investigations to facilitate successful case completion.
- Writing the assignment providing the investigator with detailed instructions on how to complete the assignment.
- Maintaining documentation of feedback on field investigator performance, communication, and timeliness.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and basic data/video upload processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Case Managers and field investigators.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
