Becker & Company is seeking a dedicated Claims Investigation Unit Manager to join our dynamic team focusing on a diverse range of in-house investigative responsibilities for national insurance claim assignments. We investigate all types of insurance claims including workers' compensation, suspected fraud, liability and more aimed at mitigating expenses for our clients and delivering high quality results. The CIU Manager will be responsible for overseeing investigative assignments from intake to the final report by coordinating day-to-day workflow of assignments, monitoring field staff performance, and ensuring the accuracy of the final report.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Review, identify and adhere to specific client requirements with timely processing.
- Assign cases to field investigators based on geographic location, budgetary guidelines, and cost containment principles.
- Conduct in-house investigations as needed to gather up-to-date information essential for successful assignment completion.
- Respond promptly to field investigator queries, providing guidance on the appropriate course of action.
- Monitor field investigator activity to ensure alignment with instructions and sound judgment.
- Review the time sheets/invoices from field investigators to manage costs and ensure accuracy.
- Document constructive feedback on field investigator performance, communication, and timeliness using the company's shared operating system.

Respond to client contact with urgency via phone or email providing regular written updates on assignment progress and documenting all contact
in operating system. - Ensure all field investigation material is promptly provided to the reporting department upon assignment completion.
- Review and edit all reports to ensure accuracy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Data/Video Uploads
- Strong case management and organizational skills
- Ability to direct and supervise field investigators.
