Commercial Roofing Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our team!

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager is responsible for planning, controlling, implementation, and tracking of multiple commercial roof projects from pre-construction to completion. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall results of the job which include office and field duties from turn over meeting until final completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and approve shop drawings and submittals – make recommendations for changes if necessary

· Ensure warranties have been applied for, work permits, and job contracts are in place and have been fully executed before any materials are released or work is performed on site

· Attend job-site meetings

· Schedule activities, maintain job-site progress

· Schedule and attend pre-planning sessions with General Contractor

· Communicate with roof division team on scheduled activities and materials

· Assemble project specific submittals

· Maintain change order status log

· Prepare estimates for change orders

· Provide support to Superintendent as required for materials, schedule, and cost information

· Assume responsibility for total project preparation, execution and close out

Skills and Experience:

· Proven experience as a Roofing Project Manager in the commercial construction industry (4 years of experience (preferred))

· Possess knowledge and expertise in various commercial roofing systems and materials

· Expertise in roofing cost, scheduling, budgeting/cost control and field supervision

· Experience managing projects from start to finish

· Knowledge of roofing edge metal

· Experience reading commercial plans and specifications working on a commercial jobsite

· Must speak English – Spanish is a plus

· Strong leadership and management skills

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Excellent problem-solving abilities

· Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills

· Proficient in MS Office, Google Docs and comfortable utilizing technology

· A Valid NC Driver License

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
