A Montana-based construction firm is seeking a Lead BAS/Controls Installer to join their team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of installation technicians in the Gallatin Valley and occasionally at job sites throughout Montana. What You'll Actually Do:
- Install and wire BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices
- Supervise the installation of building automation systems
- Install, terminate and test low voltage cabling.
- Supervise and mentor installation crews as the team grows.
- Coordinate with personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient job site.
- Interpret control drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Support system commissioning, start-up, and owner training.
- Attend training to stay up to date on products and systems.
- Document as-builts and installation changes accurately.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- 5 years of BAS/Controls or low-voltage temperature control system installation.
- Able to bend and install conduit up to 1” in diameter
- Strong knowledge of DDC systems and BAS platforms (Johnson Controls, Delta).
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
- Valid driver's license; OSHA 10/30 preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.

- Target Pay $75/hour DOE
