Why this job – COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE:
This newly created role is a great opportunity for someone interested in compliance and the financial services industry to get firsthand training from the firm's CFO/CCO and build out the firm's compliance program. The firm is gearing up to launch its next fund in Q1 2025, and with that, getting a compliance program in place is a key focus area for the leadership team. This is a high visibility role, and ideally, this person would start as an Associate and eventually take over the CCO duties and title from the CFO.
What You'll Actually Do:
- Create, maintain, and implement the compliance program for the firm
- Oversee annual review of firm compliance program
- Manage relationships with compliance partners, including ACA Compliance and law firms
- Stay updated on ACA compliance regulations to ensure the company adheres to all guidelines
- Oversee the compliance portal (ACA Compliance Alpha), monitor employee transactions and ensure certifications are completed on time
- Conduct annual firm-wide compliance training sessions
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
- 2 years of professional services-related experience
- Experience in compliance, financial services, or law firm is ideal
- Understanding of and interest in compliance and eagerness to grow in the field
- Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Deadline-driven and strict adherence to policies & procedures
Where and How Much:
- Compensation based on experience and background / $90K – $120K 10-20% Bonus
- Hybrid Schedule – Boulder office (East side)-must live in Colorado
- 100% Employer paid benefit plans | PTO | 401K
