Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at JA Edwards of America, Inc. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our mission of delivering exceptional restoration services to our community.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger accounts.
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial accounts.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Experience with journal entries and month-end closing activities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
