Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile IT Manager with strong technical writing and project management skills to join our international faith-based organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT operations, managing projects, and creating comprehensive technical documentation. This is a volunteer / supported position and a member of the Information & Digital Technologies team reporting to the Director of Information Technology.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Create clear and concise technical documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades.
