Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site engineering support, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly, safely, and in compliance with all technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site engineering support for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of oil and gas infrastructure.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate field documentation, including reports, drawings, and test results.
- Provide technical guidance to field crews and ensure proper equipment use.
- Support and perform quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance are met.
- Assist in the development of operational procedures and ensure they are followed on-site.
- Report any project risks or issues to management promptly.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas operations, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documents.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in remote or offshore locations as required.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, Project Engineer certification).
- Experience with field instrumentation, equipment installation, and testing.
- Proficiency with engineering software and tools.
