As the Operations Director at Jabil, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation within our manufacturing division. You will oversee end-to-end operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain management, and operational strategy.

Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align manufacturing objectives with overall corporate strategy.
Operational Excellence:
- Drive efficiency and productivity improvements across manufacturing operations.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.
- Oversee production planning, quality assurance, and on-time delivery metrics.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers and staff to achieve peak performance.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
Customer Focus:
- Partner with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
Compliance and Sustainability:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
- Champion sustainability initiatives to support Jabil’s commitment to corporate responsibility.
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and cost reduction.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in global, matrixed organizations is a plus.
