Job Title: Program Manager

Jabil is seeking a motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead and drive the successful execution of programs and projects within our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business profitability by coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning resources to meet program objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for delivering results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What can you expect to do?
Program Leadership:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, managing customer relationships and expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and budget.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Customer Management:
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to understand requirements, address concerns, and provide regular updates.
- Drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing issues and maintaining open communication.
- Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for innovation and value creation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and other departments to meet program goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve conflicts or resource constraints to ensure smooth program execution.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate program performance and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports to senior leadership and customers.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Monitor progress and adapt plans as needed to address changes in scope or priorities.
- Lead problem-solving efforts for challenges that arise during program execution.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives to improve program management processes and methodologies.
- Capture lessons learned and best practices to enhance future program performance.
- Support Jabil’s commitment to lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs or projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
