Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations and Support Professional to join our team at Jacam. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient blending, packaging, and shipping of chemicals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Blend finished products according to standard operating procedures and employee training.
- Packaging finished products and transferring products between different packaging units in a safe and proper manner.
- Accurately record the amount of products used and created.
- Maintain and inspect equipment and facilities as required.
- Sample and test materials and products to ensure quality control.
- Ensure chemical blends meet manufacturing specifications without substitutions or modifications.
- Operate processing equipment to admit, transfer, filter, or mix chemicals.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Basic knowledge of various pumps and valves preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Computer skills with basic navigation, typing, and mouse usage.
- Background in MS Office applications preferred.
- Dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible work ethic.
- Ability to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions.
Work Environment:
The selected candidate will work in a chemical manufacturing environment, both inside and outside metal buildings. They will be exposed to temperature extremes and a chemical odor environment.
