Small law office seeks full-time (preferred) or part-time legal/ personal assistant.
Summary
As a Legal/Personal Assistant, you will provide essential support in a law office setting, focusing on various matters. Your core skills in legal research, document review, and case management will be vital in assisting the attorney. Additionally, your premium skills in project management and familiarity with legal software will enhance workflow efficiency. With strong organizational and administrative abilities, you will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of the office.
Must have experience in Estate Planning, Wills and Powers of Attorney, Bankruptcy, Traffic citations, Real Estate, Civil litigation, Probate such as Guardianships/ Conservatorships etc.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Jubilee (bankruptcy software), Metlife billing, etc.
Must be able to do the following,
· Maintain all office files and documents,
· Scheduling appointments,
· Effectively manage office calendar,
· Prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines without prompting,
· Transcribe and draft legal documents,
· Assist with legal research,
· Secretarial duties such as copying, filing documents with Courts, answer phones, reply to emails, etc.
Plus, various personal assistant duties.
Hourly rate: negotiable.
